mini-Franchisees joining our network

Since last writing we now have mini-Franchises of our Ryan International business in Croydon, London, Leeds, Wallasey, Merseyside and Bangor and have at least another 12 serious enquiries. This is the start of a planned expansion where we hope to take our network up to at least 200 mini-Franchises throughout the UK and Ireland during 2008. Details of this low-cost, home-based, business opportunity can be found on our website at www.ryanint.com . Our eventual aim is to have a network of 500 throughout the British Isles so if you are interested then send me an e-mail for further details.

www.ryanint.com

We have now offered mini-Franchises of the 'Leaflet distribution section' of our Ryan International business www.ryanint.com and I must say that the up-take has surpassed my expectations. We are getting enquiries from all parts of the UK and Ireland and that is just through a small ad we placed in Exchange & Mart magazine. It is my aim to issue 100 mini-Franchises within Ireland (North and South) and over 300 in the UK before we enter the USA and Canadian marketplace. Actually we have had two enquiries from Australia already from people who found us on the Internet so I will be looking at Australia and New Zealand. The beauty about our business is that it will work in any country but it is important that we get it right in our own country first. We are only allocating one mini-Franchise per town which must have a population of 12000 +, cities will have more depending on size of population.
If you are looking at this on our website under the Business Opportunity section please remember to read the link 'What is a mini-Franchise' which is three paragraphs from the end, that will give you an insight as to what this is all about.
I would be very interested in running a few pilot operations in the USA for a trial if any of you are interested, contact me on e-mail if you're interested.
We had a choice of either employing teams of 'field workers', having 'agents' or taking this route of issuing mini-Franchises, we felt that this was the most sensible option and the easiest managed from an admin point of view. The mini-Franchise option also allows us to build up a network of franchisees who together will take the business forward, it will enable us to offer other product to our network in the future.
This network is being built on a first in basis as there will be only one per town so if you are interested then it is up to you to get in there first and stake a claim for your territory, you will not be disappointed. Please remember this is a Low-cost, Part-time, Second-income mini-Franchise of an established company who have been using this syatem successfully for a few years. We are allowing you to use our Brand, you do not need stock, staff, storage or any of the other things normally associated with a Franchise, all you need is your spare room / kitchen table, computer, e-mail and a telephone and you can make a good second income, click on www.ryanint.com for more details.

I started a small part-time home-based business a few years ago to supplement my income, it has flourished now into quite an income and I have decided to turn it into a mini-Franchise operation. I have just launched it into the UK and Ireland and I plan to launch it in North America and Canada in June 08 although if any of you out there wish to get in first then contact me. It is so simple to operate, if you can use a computer, a telephone, can walk and have an e-mail address then this is the one. We are a business to end-user service with the franchisee positioned between the two. This is a genuine part-time business, not one of the scams you are no doubt seeing every day, it is amazing how many so-called business opportunities are being offered that have no mission of making you money yet people fall for them, I am no exception in that I have tried a few of them with no success. My own business, the one I am now franchising, I fell into accidentally when I was doing work for one of my customers and he asked me if I knew anyone who provided a particular service that he needed, I didn't but I volunteered to do it myself and that is when I realised that I had found a market that there was little competition in, something that was practically all profit. I carried out a lot of market research, spoke to a lot of business owners and service providers, then set up my system and bingo - I have been making quite a few £'s ever since, it certainly pays for the holidays and my cars and this is still only a part-time business as we have other business interests as well. I am offering this mini-Franchise for an initial payment of £59.95, or €85.00 or $120.00 depending on what part of the world you live in. If you go to my website www.ryanint.com you will get a lot more detail.
I would appreciate any help you can give me in spreading the word. There will only be ONE mini-Franchise per town with more in the cities so it really is on a first come - first gets basis, I do not have to do any Credit checks, get References or any of the other things usually required when you are dealing with a Franchise as this is a small low-cost part-time mini-Franchise and the money is paid up front, I don't operate with credit and this business does not operate credit either, it is a COD business. The bonus is that you will make good friends with a lot of shop-owners who you will be providing the service for, that can also open a lot of other doors for you, I have been doing this now for quite a few years and 'am on first name terms with most of the shop-owners in my home town and that can be a good feeling on it's own, it is what is known as 'respect'. They even send other business owners to me from other towns and that is another reason why I decided to Franchise as I need a network of people, I have set a target of 500 mini-Franchises in the UK and Ireland, I have not yet set a figure on USA and Canada as I have yet to carry out more research for those countries but that will be in place for June 2008. That does not stop you signing up with me and maybe running a few pilot schemes before June.

Why do you want to be perfect?

I recently attended a meeting with a group of people who were entrepreneurs in my local area, it really was a brain-storming exercise with the topic 'How to start a new business as quickly as possible'. I will not go into the finer detail of our discussions however the beauty of brain-storming exercises is that they can throw up some very interesting views and topics. The one topic that stood out and we all agreed it was something we all were guilty of was the fact that before we started a new business, we carried out a lot of research, went in to a lot of detail, talked to a lot of people, were put off by a lot of people who brought up all sorts of problems and issues as to why the business would not work, and the list went on of the pre-launch details, our main concern was, we wanted the business to be perfect from day one.
We all agreed that at times we had been swayed by the comments of others and had been put off. Trying to seek perfection from day one has killed a lot of new businesses so I am inclined now to look at start-ups in a slightly different way, I am not saying 'Don't research and don't listen or talk to others' but what I am saying is 'Don't get too deep and don't waste time listening to others who maybe through jealously or envy would rather that you just remained a little sheep'.
If I had implemented all the business ideas I have had over the years I would be a happy bunny but as with everyone else I was put off before everything was perfected.
I want to throw a suggestion at you which came out of our meeting and we agreed that it was maybe a better way to move forward in a lot of instances, obviously some companies MUST HAVE perfection. What I am talking about here is the type of business you can set up and let yourself go a little, to quote a saying 'Give it life instead of keeping it in the laboratory', give it freedom to grow, to learn. Yes, it means launching your project before it has been perfected and yes, there may be teething problems but hey, that is how we learn and learn quicker. Until you start to get feedback on your business you will not grow it, it means risks but calculated risks, it means being brave, you need the valuable feedback in a new business and you need to act on it.
Now you can work towards perfection, you can solve the issues as they surface, you can test your market and you just might find out that your customers view of perfection is not the same as yours. Go for it.
If you need to dress up your car why not check out my friends at www.autocruising.com , there is everything there from bodykits, wheels, exhausts, engine parts, sat-nav etc etc. That website is an example of what I am talking about here, it started from nothing, is successful and is gradually getting better every week.

This is what can happen to your alloy wheel when you have too much power under your right foot. The whole centre of this wheel was sheered out under race conditions but hey, needed a new set of wheels anyway. Got a new set of Buddy Club rims from http://www.autocruising.com/ and they look the dogs whatnots.
I suppose these wheels were designed for sunday afternoon casual driving, not 400bhp pedal to the metal type stuff.

The pic above is of my mates MG Metro 6R4 which is a full blown 500bhp rallycross car, won the British Rallycross Championship a few years ago with it and it's still as fit as the top cars now although the car is semi-retired.
That wee 6R4 can accelerate from 0 - 60mph in 2.2 secs which is mind-blowing stuff, fitted with a 2.5 Goodman engine she certainly blows the cobwebs away, top speed is not stupendous however it doesn't take it long to get up there which makes her ideal for rallycross or sprints. She has had a few scary moments in her time and has been upside down a few times as well, took it across to Barbados a couple of years ago and she set fastest time at the first rallycross event held on the island. Maybe the large intake of Rum had helped on that occasion. I like my Metro 6R4's, they are quick if properly tuned, they sound fantastic and there isn't too many about now. It would be nice to get my hands on a road-going version so if you know where there is one then let me know.
