I haven't blogged for a while. I have just completed my new book 'Would You Employ You?' and it is off with the publisher/printer at present. Quite excited about it but the hard part now starts, marketing and selling it. I would hope that it will be available from mid July 09. The book is basically about 'You', What is your attitude? How do you treat your job, your employer, your colleagues, How to climb the corporate ladder.
This is a book that will make you look at yourself, you will become a better employee, a better person and a more successful person. A must read for anyone who is in to self-improvement and who wants to make an impact in their workplace.
A comment from a Reviewer 'The importance of being positive has certainly been highlighted by the author, he has hit the nail on the head on this subject'.
Would you employ you? That question needs to be asked by practically everyone on this planet of employment age, What have you got? How do you use your knowledge? Are you seeking to improve your lot? How do you contribute to the success of your employer? How do you contribute to your own success? Do you know that your attitude will determine your level of success? Do you know that you are in charge of your own destiny? A lot of questions there and really that is what this book is all about.
The price will be stg£9.99/$16.50/€12.00 in paperback and stg£18.99/$31.50/€22.50 in Hardback, post and packing will be approx £3.00.
I will keep you informed on the progress and any help you can give me to promote the book will be greatly appreciated, I should have more info by mid-July.

Since last writing we now have mini-Franchises of our Ryan International business in Croydon, London, Leeds, Wallasey, Merseyside and Bangor and have at least another 12 serious enquiries. This is the start of a planned expansion where we hope to take our network up to at least 200 mini-Franchises throughout the UK and Ireland during 2008. Details of this low-cost, home-based, business opportunity can be found on our website at www.ryanint.com . Our eventual aim is to have a network of 500 throughout the British Isles so if you are interested then send me an e-mail for further details.

The following is a very nice piece which a news media company wrote about us recently
The business delivers a low-cost, home-based, instant profit making business opportunity to individuals who are seeking to supplement their income every month. With growth in mind, the business also has experienced staff who assist their clients to develop the business in their own towns.

We have now offered mini-Franchises of the 'Leaflet distribution section' of our Ryan International business www.ryanint.com and I must say that the up-take has surpassed my expectations. We are getting enquiries from all parts of the UK and Ireland and that is just through a small ad we placed in Exchange & Mart magazine. It is my aim to issue 100 mini-Franchises within Ireland (North and South) and over 300 in the UK before we enter the USA and Canadian marketplace. Actually we have had two enquiries from Australia already from people who found us on the Internet so I will be looking at Australia and New Zealand. The beauty about our business is that it will work in any country but it is important that we get it right in our own country first. We are only allocating one mini-Franchise per town which must have a population of 12000 +, cities will have more depending on size of population.
If you are looking at this on our website under the Business Opportunity section please remember to read the link 'What is a mini-Franchise' which is three paragraphs from the end, that will give you an insight as to what this is all about.
I would be very interested in running a few pilot operations in the USA for a trial if any of you are interested, contact me on e-mail if you're interested.
We had a choice of either employing teams of 'field workers', having 'agents' or taking this route of issuing mini-Franchises, we felt that this was the most sensible option and the easiest managed from an admin point of view. The mini-Franchise option also allows us to build up a network of franchisees who together will take the business forward, it will enable us to offer other product to our network in the future.
This network is being built on a first in basis as there will be only one per town so if you are interested then it is up to you to get in there first and stake a claim for your territory, you will not be disappointed. Please remember this is a Low-cost, Part-time, Second-income mini-Franchise of an established company who have been using this syatem successfully for a few years. We are allowing you to use our Brand, you do not need stock, staff, storage or any of the other things normally associated with a Franchise, all you need is your spare room / kitchen table, computer, e-mail and a telephone and you can make a good second income, click on www.ryanint.com for more details.

I started a small part-time home-based business a few years ago to supplement my income, it has flourished now into quite an income and I have decided to turn it into a mini-Franchise operation. I have just launched it into the UK and Ireland and I plan to launch it in North America and Canada in June 08 although if any of you out there wish to get in first then contact me. It is so simple to operate, if you can use a computer, a telephone, can walk and have an e-mail address then this is the one. We are a business to end-user service with the franchisee positioned between the two. This is a genuine part-time business, not one of the scams you are no doubt seeing every day, it is amazing how many so-called business opportunities are being offered that have no mission of making you money yet people fall for them, I am no exception in that I have tried a few of them with no success. My own business, the one I am now franchising, I fell into accidentally when I was doing work for one of my customers and he asked me if I knew anyone who provided a particular service that he needed, I didn't but I volunteered to do it myself and that is when I realised that I had found a market that there was little competition in, something that was practically all profit. I carried out a lot of market research, spoke to a lot of business owners and service providers, then set up my system and bingo - I have been making quite a few £'s ever since, it certainly pays for the holidays and my cars and this is still only a part-time business as we have other business interests as well. I am offering this mini-Franchise for an initial payment of £59.95, or €85.00 or $120.00 depending on what part of the world you live in. If you go to my website www.ryanint.com you will get a lot more detail.
I would appreciate any help you can give me in spreading the word. There will only be ONE mini-Franchise per town with more in the cities so it really is on a first come - first gets basis, I do not have to do any Credit checks, get References or any of the other things usually required when you are dealing with a Franchise as this is a small low-cost part-time mini-Franchise and the money is paid up front, I don't operate with credit and this business does not operate credit either, it is a COD business. The bonus is that you will make good friends with a lot of shop-owners who you will be providing the service for, that can also open a lot of other doors for you, I have been doing this now for quite a few years and 'am on first name terms with most of the shop-owners in my home town and that can be a good feeling on it's own, it is what is known as 'respect'. They even send other business owners to me from other towns and that is another reason why I decided to Franchise as I need a network of people, I have set a target of 500 mini-Franchises in the UK and Ireland, I have not yet set a figure on USA and Canada as I have yet to carry out more research for those countries but that will be in place for June 2008. That does not stop you signing up with me and maybe running a few pilot schemes before June.

Happy New Year
A Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year in 2008. We are probably all full of turkey and all the trimmings but sure, that is what it is all about, celebrations, friends, good food, good wines and generally having a good time. As a person who is in to books I am delighted to say that I received some as presents this Christmas which was a change from the traditional socks, smellies, etc. If you want to get some good car books then go to http://www.autocruising.com/ and you will find an excellent selection to choose from, from normal car books to hot-rod to auto-racing to show-cars etc, they are all there.
I wish everyone a very good New Year and may you have all that you wish yourselves.
